Dearest Masala Pop Customers, Friends and Family:
 
In 2011, Masala Pop was launched in my kitchen with a simple, home air-popper. The only intention was to bring a favorite childhood snack, my mother’s Savory Masala popcorn, to the people -- I wanted to make real snacks that make people happy!
 
This month we celebrated our 5-year milestone in the business. We’ve come a long way from that home air-popper! As Masala Pop continues to grow, we have reached our manufacturing capacity at our Portland-based production kitchen and we are currently transitioning our production to a facility outside of Eugene, Oregon.
 
The move, however, is bittersweet, as we wind down our Portland Pop Shop hours. November 5th will be our last day of regular retail hours. We will have a few “pop-ups” in our Pop Shop in December for you to stock up on holiday snacks. Follow us on Facebook or join our newsletter at to be notified of these dates and online specials. From now through December, you can also email info@eatmasalapop.com to set up a time to stop by, stock up, or fill your tin one last time.
 
Customers, retail partners, friends, family, and the best employees, my “pop squad", you have supported and cheered me on every step of the way.
