What does handcrafted mean?
We make Masala Pop in small, 10-20-gallon batches to ensure every kernel gets attention—and just the right amount of seasoning.

How do you make Masala Pop?
We air-pop organic, non-GMO corn kernels and toss them authentic Indian spices and mindful amounts of organic oils and sweeteners. 

Do they even have popcorn in India?
Yes. Indian street vendors known as popcorn walahs pop popcorn in big kettles. They add spices, peanuts and other snack bits, or people bring the popcorn home and spice it up themselves. India’s Bollywood movie theaters also serve spiced popcorn.

What is all natural about your ingredients?
We use only real, preservative-free ingredients. We source our organic, non-GMO corn kernels direct from a family farm in California or through a Oregon-based distributor that sources with growers in the midwest.

How fresh is your product?
Our goal is to wow you with the freshest, most delicious Indian-spiced popcorn possible. Keep your Masala Pop bags sealed until you’re ready to enjoy their bounty. If any kernels remain when you’re sated, re-seal the bags to help preserve freshness.

If you find your Masala Pop has lost some of its crunch, spread it on a baking sheet and crsip it in the oven at 250 degrees for 10 minutes.

Is Masala Pop gluten-free?
To the best of our knowledge, Masala Pop is gluten-free. Popcorn is naturally gluten-free, and none of our other ingredients is made with gluten. Our papadums (Indian lentil chips) are made in a facility that makes other products with gluten. We have not yet obtained gluten-free certification.
